The fun police are targeting temptation (it's for your own good)

As much as I hate to be the fun police, as your naturopath I would like to remind you; It's much easier to avoid triggering an unhealthy habit than it is to resist the temptation once triggered.

In other words, it's easier to avoid the temptation in the first place.

Avoiding a trigger may look like:

  • not keeping ultra-processed snacks or lollies in the house

  • not keeping alcohol at home

  • deleting social media apps from your phone

  • locking your electronic devices in a drawer after 8pm

  • not walking past the vending machine at work

  • total and complete internet shut down at 10pm (goodnight netflix)

For the sake of better health, I want you to think seriously and honestly about what habits are impacting negatively on your health and what can you can do to avoid those triggers. Let me know in the comments what behaviour you’re going to change today.
